"In the count of 3, fire!", The man said.
Seeing this, I grew pissed; this man wasn't even paying attention to me.
His hand remained on his gun, almost like he had always hated me and this was his opportunity to kill me.
"3!", He yelled as his confused followers also lifted up their guns.
"Lord Derick!", They heard a voice yell.
It was Harrison, the new guard sub commander.
"What's going on?!", He said as he turned to Medusa coming with great speed, closer than ever.
"…Harry! Get out of the way!", The old man said aggressively with almost no regard for Harrison.
"I dare you to shoot!!", I said aggressively turning to face Medusa, honestly waiting to see how far this man would go. If even as far a bullet, scratches Medusa's scales, today will mark his end.
"Drop your guns!", Harrison yelled.
"Harry, get out of there!!", The old man yelled.
"Potter, I said…"
"Lord Harrison!", Some of the guards yelled before Harrison could finish his sentence seemingly seeing Medusa so close to him.
My back collided against Harrison's as I wrestled with Medusa.
"What's wrong with you!", I yelled as I tried to hold her down.
As the struggle continued she hit several guards with her tail.
Her struggle continued, somewhat ignoring me as she relentlessly tried to get to Bell who had crawled back with her butt against the floor; unable to take her eyes off Medusa.
"She's not an enemy Med!", I said as we continued struggling.
Medusa hissed so more as she moved more furiously.
"You leave me no choice!!", I got pissed and let her go.
Like a stretched band, she shot at Bell.
But just before go there, I pressed my fingers into her body, piercing through her skin and with a great force, I pulled her, hitting her against the hospital building.
The building shook heavily, so much so that some of the wooden pillars broke and fell.
Followed by screams from inside the building.
On seeing this, I reconsidered fighting with her here.
"Harrison, order your men not to shoot!", I said and ran towards Bell, picking her up and lifting her in my arms.
Medusa quickly recovered, gained her vision and began to crawl towards us as expected.
I immediately began to run with Bell in my arms as Medusa chased from behind.
"Derick, it's coming fast!!", Bell screamed in fear as she looked behind me.
Others around saw me running and Medusa behind and they too began to run.
I ran until we got close to river and then stopped, placing Bell behind me.
Medusa continued approaching with full speed and unwavering energy.
"Stop!!!", I yelled putting a hand in front.
On hearing this, she slowed down a little and then with all her might she continued.
"I warned you Med!", I said and charged towards her as well.
"Hissssssss"
With a restricful punch from the side of her face, she flew in the direction of the punch.
She laid there quietly, although breathing, but motionless.
"Hissss"
Her eyes were opened and with her tail she swung at me.
I jumped, dodging the attack and then pounced on her neck with an elbow.
She groaned in pain.
On hearing her groan I felt my heart tighten and so jumped back.
"Med please stop this!", I said standing beside her as she continued breathing heavily.
After awhile, she raised her head up with great effort and then turned to me and then at Bell. After a fiece look, she crawled away.
"Medusa!!"
"Medusa!!", I called aloud.
She ignored continued crawling away.
"What was that?!", Bell walked close to me shaking.
"My pet snake Medusa!", I replied.
"Your pet snake?!", She said amused.
"That's a pet?!", She asked again.
This time I said nothing as I watched Medusa who had crawled a distance.
"It killed the woman you sent with me!", She said.
"What?!", I replied turning to her.
"What do you mean", I was puzzled.
"Are you deaf, she killed the woman that gave me the clothes and then was comning after me when you intervened.", She explained.
"You are not joking me with right!", I held her by her arms.
"Ouh! Ouh! Ouh, you're hurting me!", She cried.
I quickly let go and began to run back to the health department.
"Don't leave me!", Bell screamed from behind.
……
When I got there, the gaurds from before were still there, this time they were inspecting the building Medusa had wrecked.
"Lord Derick you're back!", Harrison said respectfully.
I ignored and ran in.
"Mrs. Judith!!", I yelled.
"Mrs. Judith!", I ran into her chambers.
I began to look around.
"Mrs. ……", I stood still.
