Phillip had no idea why this man behaved the way he did, and so was very annoyed. He was already out in front of his classmates, he can't go back now, the best thing he can do is look for other contacts.
So he decided called another person, the one in charge of the district's public security branch.
He too had a good relationship with his dad.
As soon as he picked up, Phillip quickly said, "Sir Zack, it's Phillip, I am here in the development zone, and some thugs came to crash my friend's restaurant's opening ceremony, requesting for protection fee!"
"Phillip, the person in charge of that gang is a man named Mr. Bones, Overl Hong's right hand man, you better just sit back and let them do take what they want from your friend", Zack replied.
"I don't understand, don't you care?", Phillip asked.
"Don't you know the status of Overl Hong?", Zack replied.
"But you are good at helping out, can't you help me out here?", Phillip asked getting a bit frustrated.
"Sorry Phillip, I can't help you this time", Zack replied.
Phillip Immediately became furious, "I remember you saying you want some police cars donated to your branch by the Axel Group, have you lost interest in it?", Phillip said.
"How can that be now that your dad has been expelled from the Axel Group? Or aren't you aware?", Zack asked.
"What! Expelled? When?!", Phillip asked shocked.
"It's been almost an hour now!", Zack replied.
"Just figure it out yourself", Zack added and hung up the phone.
On seeing his expression, the thug leader asked, "what's the matter boy? You can't find anyone?"
Just as Phillip was about to say a word, the thug slapped him hard on his face. He staggered on the floor, knocking down some chairs and a table.
The classmates were bewildered.
Their faces went pale, but none dared say a word.
"How dare you slap me?", Phillip said with his hand on his face, as the angered burned in his eyes.
"And so?", The thug said and kicked Phillip's stomach, and afterwards, Phillip was beaten violently.
As the beating went on Phillip screamed in pain, and no one could dare help him out.
Phillip was beaten till his head swole up like that of a pigs, his face was covered in blood.
"Big brother please, big brother, I did wrong! I am sorry, please stop beating me!", Phillip said crying and begging tired of the beating.
"Shut up! I'll do it till I am satisfied, how dare you act forceful to me? If I don't kill you, what does that make you?", The thug replied.
When he was done talking he turned to his boys, "boys hit him harder!", He said.
As soon as his voice landed, the rest thugs rushed in and began to punch and kick Phillip.
They even went as far as hitting his head with a baseball bat. The scene was truly terrible.
On seeing how badly Phillip was beaten, the classmates grew more scared.
The thug turned to Griffin and said, "because your friend pretended to act tough and threatened me, I am raising the price from 20 to 40%! If you refuse, I'll do same thing to you!"
Griffin was in dismay, if he were to give 40% of his profit to this gang, would that make him a part-time job holder for this gang?
So took up the courage and said, "if you are taking 40% of my restaurant's profit, then you might as well kill me!
"Okay then, if that's what you want, I'll fulfil your wish!", The thug said.
When he was done talking, he brought out a sharp knife from his pocket.
On seeing this, all the classmates grew scared.
When Chris saw the thug about to attack Griffin, he commanded, "put the knife down!"
The thug turned his head to him and asked, "who the fuck wishes to die?"
