The crowd could no longer contain their excitement and for some, thier confusion.
Either ways there was yet again another uproar.
The entire scene looked like a match, one in which the both sides were almost of equal strength, but the crowd had one favourite player. So instead of great cheers after every hit, there were either cheers or ooos, depending on who was hit.
Miguel and Palmer couldn't were the most surprised.
They had long concluded that Luca would be thrown out of the kingdom, but who would have thought that the entire thing will end up on his detriment.
"You can't be serious?!", Miguel said aggressively as he approached the old Psychometry master.
"Stop!", Mercury whom Miguel greatly respected said with a sad expression.
"Mercury! Don't tell me you believe this old scum!", Miguel said arrogantly.
"Mind young tongue Lord Miguel..... Master Xenguy never lies....", Mercury said in a disappointed tone.
"What?!!!", Miguel roared.
"What do you mean he never lies?! He is lying!!!", Miguel l yelled alot louder.
"Booo!!!!", The crowd booed.
"Girlfriend snatcher!", They said and some began to spit.
"You!! You bunch of imbeciles!!", Miguel said facing one whose taunting he found very annoying.
The young man opened his mouth aloud, closed his eyes and was rolling his tongue from left to right as Miguel spoke.
Miguel quickly leaped towards him and was about to give him a careless blow. One whose result would kill a Sticilian master.
Boom!
Right before the punch landed on the poor boys face, Mercury held it.
"Stop! This wouldn't change the outcome.", He said.
Right there and then, the grown up Miguel, began to cry.
All watching began to laugh, all except the once taunting youngman who had just seen his life flash before his eyes.
Palmer was also greatly affected by this, how in Quaila is he going handle banishing his favorite son. It hurt him so much, he felt like banishing himself instead.
He sat back on the throne and said nothing as he stared at Miguel who was on knees crying and saying nothing. He then turned over to Luca who sat there staring at Kayla who was also crying.
Palmer shook his head and put his hand on his face.
Palmer has always been very good at hiding his emotions but this event totally caught him off gaurd. Could this be what Zed meant?
How could he have missed this?
His precognitive dream was suddenly interpreted before his very eyes.
Miguel laid in his arms, stabbed in the chest by a familiar sword, while he himself was tied to the ground, unable to do anything, when suddenly that same sword was pulled out of Miguel's chest and plunged into his own. He fell on the floor and where he laid he saw the sun covered by dark clouds and darkness was upon all of Quaila.
Is this it, the dream unfolding.
Just then he saw Mercury talking to the Psychometry master quietly.
Only then, did he notice the sword he was weilding.
As soon as he saw this, his eyes widened and heart tightened.
Amongst all in the kingdom, none does he trust as much as Mercury, not even Miguel. He trust Mercury so much that he has no secret hidden from him.
Only then did he realize that Mercury had infinite access to more than enough resources to plan this entire thing.
First, knowledge of his 2 sons, Miguel and Luca. Finding out the right girl to cause a controversy as big as this.
And then motive: after himself and his 2 sons, Mercury might actually be the strongest multi possessor.
But why? After everything"Not you Mercury!", He said silently and fell on the floor.
"Father!", Luca yelled and rushed towards.
The entire crowd suddenly noticed this.
"Father!", "My Lord", Miguel and Mercury ran towards the fallen Palmer immediately.
