At noon the next day, Chris and Nora flew to New York on the transoceanic flight of Air Springs.
The whole voyage took 16 hours, and by the time the 2 arrived in New York, it was already 2 p.m. local time.
Chris is usually used to the Concorde, which is 3 times faster than a civilian airliner: So when he 1st took this ordinary plane, it felt like a direct drop from a high-speed train to a green train.
Good thing he bought the ticket for a luxurious environment and could lie down to sleep in 1st-class, otherwise this journey would have been extra tormenting.
Nora after 16 hours of flight, her state is also very good: Does not seem tired, and there are several expectations and excitement in her eyes.
After getting off the plane, the couple used another hour or so to complete the process of customs entry and luggage pickup.
Chris took the car he had set up in advance, and after putting all the luggage into the trunk: He drove Nora to their final destination – Providence.
This was Nora's 1st time in the U.S: And her curiosity about a foreign country made her excited on the way, constantly looking left and right.
Driving north, through the bustling New York, Chris then followed the navigation tips, all the way towards the northeast.
4 hours from now, the 2 finally arrived at the Bimon Hotel in Providence.
Rachael, who was responsible for hosting the master class, was already waiting at the hotel in advance.
Just as the 2 walked into the lobby of the hotel: A white woman in the lobby lounge region ran over happily and said to Nora, "Nora, you've finally arrived!"
The 1 who spoke was Rachael.
Because she was the person in charge of this master class: She had already returned to the U.S 2 days before the auction started and began to prepare for the master class.
She heard Nora say that she would arrive at the Bimon Hotel in the afternoon: So she came over in advance to wait for them and greet them.
Nora was also very surprised to see her and said offhandedly, "Rachael, what brings you to the hotel?"
"I'm here to give you a good reception!" Rachael said with a smile: "It's already past 6 o'clock, just in time for dinner, I made a reservation at the Bimon's Sky Restaurant."
"After you put your luggage away and take a short rest, we can go to eat."
Nora said: "I'm really sorry, I made you break the bank."
Rachael said with a straight face, "You're still so polite with me?"
Saying that, she looked at Chris and asked with a smile, "This is your husband, right?"
Nora hurriedly nodded and said with a smile, "Rachael, let me introduce to you, this is my husband, Arthur."
After saying that, she was busy saying to Chris: "Chris, this is what I've been telling you, my idol, Rachael Wests."
Chris looked at Rachael and said politely, "Hello Miss Wests, I've heard a lot about you."
Rachael hurriedly extended her hand and said, "Mr. Arthur you are too polite."
"I also admired your great name for a long time when I was in Hillsprings."
Although Rachael did not know what exactly was Chris's origin and background: She knew that this was a man that even Esther had to be careful to curry favor with: And this alone was enough to prove that this man was not ordinary.
After the 2 shook hands and exchanged several words of courtesy, Chris politely said to the two: "You guys chat 1st, I'll go do the check-in procedure."
The 2 nodded slightly, and Rachael then asked Nora in a low voice: "Nora, why can't you contact Fraton in the past 2 days?"
Nora still didn't know Esther's real identity and thought that her good friend was the French Springsen Elise Fraton.
In fact, Nora had been trying to contact Esther in the past 2 days: But like Rachael, Esther's contact number had been turned off, and the whole person seemed to have evaporated without a trace.
So she said truthfully to Rachael, "I'm not going to lie, I haven't been able to contact her in the past 2 days."
"Could it be that she left Springs for something urgent?"
Rachael hesitated for a moment, nodded gently, and said, "That's probably possible."
