All eyes were now on Kayla.

You know that feeling when you saw your class monitor or close friend do something, say beat up an old woman, child or something. And that old woman or child was called upon to testify, and give their account of what happened. In as much as you know the testimony, you now in your head and for some reason still hope it doesn't go the way it is supposed to.

"Lord Miguel Starion."

Kayla's reply surprised everyone, especially Lord Palmer, Miguel, and Sir Gregory.

Once again the crowd was in an uproar. The old woman, child or something had testified to the little almost impossible hoped expectation.

"Are you insane?!", Miguel stood up in anger roaring.

This was a very confusing moment for them all.

Gregory who knew how true speaking his daughter was, couldn't wrap his head around her utterance.

She had always been with Luca, why now did she claim to have gotten pregnant for Miguel. Did Miguel do this to send his brother out of the Kingdom so he could gain full control after his father's death? That completely sounds like what Miguel would do. But Lord Palmer, has he become this evil?

"Young lady, you are before the Lord and sirs of Quaila, do you know the implication of lying before us?", Palmer said with an ugly expression.

At this point Kayla broke into tears and Miguel's heart eased a bit, thinking she said that because of her love for Luca and after hearing Lord Palmer's words will finally say what she was supposed to.

But to his surprise, she said: "yes my Lord, I dare not disrespect you my Lord and the sirs here and so I speak the truth; Lord Miguel Starion is responsible for my pregnancy...."

As soon as her voice fell, Miguel's heart tightened. He immediately rushed forward and was about to slap her when his hand was stopped by Luca.

"How painful it is when the lot of the wicked falls on the wicked...", Luca added with a smirk.

"You bastard!", Miguel said forcefully pushing Luca off.

Luca flew several meters back until he came in contact with the wall that caught him from going further.

"This is a lie! You all known that this is Luca's girlfriend!", He said pointing at the girl.

Boom!

Out of no where a flat piece of cemeted wall forcefully came towards Miguel, hitting him with a force great enough to send him flying from near Kayla to some where amongst the crowd hitting two persons who died in an instant, breaking the cemented chair where they sat.

The families of the people who just lost their lives were surprised, they were unable to comprehend what had just happened.

Miguel at this time had lost it.

As soon as he opened his eyes, he leaped towards Luca about to give him a fatal blow when his punch was held by Lord Palmer's cheif gaurd, Mercury.

"Stop!", Mercury said.

"Sir Mercury please! Let me deal with this bastard!", The angry Miguel said looking at his brother whom at this point he had the intention to kill.

"Lord Palmer, please let's send for a master of Psychometry", Mercury pleaded with Palmer.

Palmer whose heart at the time was violent, nodded after exhaling heavily, without uttering a word.

In no time a master in the Psychometry was brought in.

"I disagree!!!!", A voice yelled from the crowd.

Standing up was the one legged Timothy.

The crowd looked at him like a mad man, "why are you up?", Gregory asked.

"This is all faked! Can't you see Lord Palmer's and Miguel's expression, this child is obviously Miguel's! Now their cheif gaurd who must have been the backup plan was sent to get this man whom we know not his origin. More lies!!", Timothy yelled.

"What?!", Miguel exclaimed in anger as he looked at Timothy whom he had always despised.

This man lost his leg in a fight with his father, Palmer, attempting to prove that he was stronger, although courageous, but his motive was really fowl.

"Yes Lord Miguel, I may not have precognition, but I see beyond this show you all are acting against Luca.", He added.

Palmer who was furious looked at Timothy and said in the calmest manner he could: "what do you suggest Sir Verija?"

"There must be a master of Psychometry amongst us!", Timothy added.

"Are there any of such amongst you?", Lord Palmer asked.

To most's surprise, 2 men and a woman walked out of the crowd to the front where Kayla was.

"Help us find out who the owner of the child in this woman belongs to...", Lord Palmer commanded.

The first man went and laid his hand on Kayla's tummy, and after a moment he took off his hand and gave his result.

The second went and did same.

And finally the only woman amongst them laid her hand on her and finally said : "The child belongs to Miguel Starion!"
