PREVIOUSLY ON CALEB'S MIND:
My name's Caleb.......Vixus.
We got to the........huge building functioning as a school.
Blake Guyzer,
a tall muscular bodied basket baller.
the tall guy Merilyn was talking to....this guy was her boyfriend and had just cheated on her.
Merilyn dropped her bag as she pcried and ran away seemingly in pain as they all laughed harder.
I tilted my body side ways and watched Merilyn's bag pass beside me.
, "what's going on here!!", a man said.

"it's lizard boy!!", Merilyn's boyfriend said with a change in his voice, denoting humility. The principal looked around seeing all the students staring, "don't you guys have classes?", he asked, and they all began to depart one by one, "Mr Blake!", he said looking at Blake, as Blake and his crew who stood there watching and murmuring kept quiet, "don't you have a class as well?", he asked and he too left reluctantly with his crew, he finally turned to me, "you must be Caleb", he said as he put his hand forward for a shake, I looked at his hand for awhile and then his face, and shook his hand, "...the gifted!", he said smiling, as the lines on his face and eyes increased, indicating that his smile was genuine, "I'll speak with you after school, for now let me show you to your class", he said as he walked away, "don't just stand there, come with me!", he said and I walked to Merylin's bag, picking up all the books that had fallen out of it, and putting them back in, the principal just stood there watching and carefully observing, when I was done I stood up and followed with caution, his heart beated steadily, which was not normal, there's usually a distortion in heart beats when people talk to me, especially when they know I am not normal.
Merilyn's P.O.V:
I ran to the females restroom crying, I can't believe Blake did this to me, well I can but not like this, he's making a fool out of me, in the presence of his friends, "and that b_tch!!!!", I shouted as I hit the wall with my hand , "ouch!", I exclaimed in pain.
I sobbed for a while and heard some girls coming laughing loudly, I quickly ran into one of the toilet rooms, "he called him a lizard! ", one said, and they continued laughing, "lizard or not, he's cute, I love how he handled the situation so calmly", another defended, "Lizard reflexes!", the first girl added and began to laugh with the other, it seems like they are just 3, "but it was really impressive tough, did you see what he did!!", the first said, "see what?", the third girl asked, "the way he dodged the bag Blake threw without even looking", she explained, "no, Jude was talking to me when it happened, I heard students exclaim in surprise, so I turned to look, all I saw at the time was a bag on the floor", the third said as one entered into the toilet room next to mine, "too bad Maria, you missed the important part", the girl in the toilet next to me said aloud, "the new kid's something alright", the second girl said , "something strange", the first said and began to laugh yet again, "strange but really cute!", the second repeated, "Mabel dont tell me you are crushing on him!", The first said as she got out of the toilet, "isn't he cute?", the second asked again, "he is though, I hate to admit it but he looks way cuter than Jude", the third girl said, "am so going to tell Jude you said that!", the first said and ran out of the restroom, "Mitchell!!!", the third said as she ran after her, they were without a doubt talking about Caleb, he's already creating a name for himself, not a good one though, "Lizard boy", I muttered to myself as I wiped my tears and got out of the toilet room, "Caleb's my ticket to get back at Blake!, I said to myself and walked out of the bathroom and to my class, which I am already a couple of minutes late for.
Caleb's P.O.V:
I got into the class and all eyes were on me, all the principal did was show me the class, he looked at the board for a second and left, I looked to the front of the class and saw the teacher writing an equation on the board , I walked to the only vacant sit I could find and sat on it, "what do you think the answer to the question is? ", the teacher said as he continued writing and wasn't getting any response from the class, "what do you think the answer to the question is?", he repeated, on getting no response yet again, he turned around to look at the class, "can't you guys hear me!", he said seemingly provoked as his eyes glanced through the class, "you!", he said pointing at me, "you weren't here before", he said still pointing at me, "were you?", he asked doubtfully, I said nothing as I stared at him, "don't you speak English?, stand up!", he commanded and I stood up, "you do!", he said kinda surprised, "what's your name", he asked, "...24!", I said after solving the equation on the board, honestly that slipped right out of my tongue, "24!?", he said confused, "hmmm", I said looking at the board disappointed in myself, he looked at the board and then back at me, "oh!", he said and looked at me seemingly understanding what I was saying, he walked back to his desk quite swiftly, picked up his note and looked at it, "you are right!", he said and the class got a little rowdy as they talked one to another, "he was calculating!?", one said sounding very surprised, "how!?", "I am as surprised as you are bro", "cute and smart", "he's definitely crazy", they muttered, one to another, "that's enough!", the teacher said, "I am Mr Felix and you are?", he asked looking at me, I said nothing as I stared at him for a while, the whole class remained quiet as they waited to hear my name, "..I am Caleb", I replied breaking the silence, "Caleb?", he repeated obviously expecting to hear a last name, "Caleb Vixus", I said after a short moment of silence pondering on wether to use Vixus or something else, on hearing the entire class became quiet, "alright, Caleb, you've just enrolled yourself on my good list he said as the door opened, "Mrs Vixus!", Mr Felix said as Merilyn walked in, and the class began to stare at her, "you are late!", he exclaimed, "well..I..um", Merilyn selected her words as she searched for an excuse, "anyways, you never told me you had a brother", Mr Felix said staring at me briefly and then back at Merilyn, "Brother!?", Merilyn asked confused, "yeah Caleb Vixus!", he replied, "Oh my God, he's not my....we are not.....Ffffork!", Merilyn said as she hit her palm on her head, "or am I wrong?", he asked Merilyn, "yes sir, we are not related!", she replied, and the class began to murmur about it, "Vixus, isn't that Merilyn's family name", "could he be her brother", "why is she denying him", "that explains why they came together", "he even came with her bag", they murmured none stop, their constant murmurs found a way of giving me a headache.
This is one of the abilities I hate the most, I can't decide what to hear and when to hear them, I hear just like you do, what I mean is as long as the sound is made near you, you hear it, the difference between the both of us is that, even down to a pin that falls on the road while lots of cars are driving, I can hear it, which is one of the reason why the road was one of the scariest places for me, cause I hear even the engine squeak, I hear the gears and belts as they collide with themselves, and it use to hurt alot, until I found a way to harmonize all similar sounds, and make them sound like one, so they are not too distractful, but that only works when the sounds are similar, not in a situation like this where the sounds are different and all at once, at different pitches and patterns.
"that's strange, there's no need to make a foss about that now, is there?....anyways, Caleb here was right, the answer is 24!", he said as he walked to the board and the class became quiet once again as they stared at me, it became more than obvious that I had really f_cked up.
Merilyn walked to where I was, "hey", she said tapping, I looked at her waiting for her to say something, but she kept quiet staring at the floor, as her heart beat slowly began increased, "he's on her desk", I heard someone murmur and I stood up immediately and handed her bag to her, "what's going on?", the teacher asked on seeing the action that took place, at that moment the bell rang , and all that were in the class stood up and departed one after the other as they continued murmuring, "Caleb was on my desk", Merilyn explained, "oh!", he exclaimed, "no problem then, I'll simply draw the principals attention to that, you guys can go for your special classes", he said with a hand gesture that signified go.
Merilyn's P.O.V:
As soon as I entered the class, I saw Caleb standing, and Mr Felix in front of him, Mr Felix suddenly turned to look at me, "Mrs Vixus", he said as the class turned to me, "you are late!", he said to me and I got really tensed seeing the class staring at me, "well..I..um", I stammered not knowing what to say to him, "anyways, you never told me you had a brother", Mr Felix said and looked at Caleb for a short while and then back at me, "Brother!?", I asked surprised, as I wondered what Caleb must have said or done, "yeah Caleb Vixus!", he replied, "Oh my God, he's not my....we are not.....Ffffork!", I said and hit my palm on my head really disappointed.
I can't believe he used the name Vixus, he's so going to ruin my plans.
"or am I wrong?", he asked, "yes sir, we are not related!", I replied affirmatively, and the class began to murmur about it, this isn't good, this isn't good at all, .
"that's strange, there's no need to make a foss about this....anyways, Caleb here was right, the answer is 24!", Mr Felix said as he walked to the board and the class became quiet once again as they stared at Caleb.
I walked to my seat and realized Caleb was on it, "hey", I said tapping shyly, he looked at me and I froze immediately, as he's eyes without a doubt penetrated my soul, I couldn't look at them, I just kept quiet and stared at the floor, as my heart beated faster like it was about to leap out of my body, he stood up suddenly and gave me my bag, "what's going on?", Mr Felix asked looking at us, and immediately the bell rang , as the students left the class one by one making the usual noise they made when leaving the class, "Caleb was on my desk", I explained to Mr Felix, "oh!", he exclaimed, "no problem then, I'll simply draw the principals attention to that, you guys can go for your special classes", he said and waved his hand go.
We got out of the class together, I and Caleb, "are you ok?", he asked, did he just ask if I am ok, what do I say, "...yeah I am", I replied feeling really tensed, "what happens now?", he asked another question, "ummm...we have special classes, ...every student has their special class kinda like what they are good at, for me it's ballet", I explained still tensed, "where's your dance hall ", he asked, "it's just by the end of the hall", I replied pointing, "let's go then", he said and at that moment I froze.
Caleb's P.O.V:
We got out of the class together, I and Merilyn, "are you ok?", I asked, her heart leaped immediately the words came out of my mouth, "...yeah I am", she replied obviously tensed, "what happens now?", I asked looking around as I saw students in different costumes, "ummm...we have special classes, ...every student has their special class, kinda like what they are good at, for me, it's ballet", she explained as her heart beated faster, "where's your dance hall ", I asked thinking about the act of ballet dancing.
Ballet dancing, where females dress usually in white tight out fits that reveals it all.
"it's just by the end of the hall", she replied pointing stiffly, "let's go then", I said to her, and almost immediately she stopped moving and talking, "Merilyn!", I called, "Merilyn!!", I called again, "ok!", she snapped out of it and began to walk fast in front of me, I followed till we got to the ballet hall.
And just as I thought, almost everyone was dressed in their white tight outfits, I looked through the room as I analyzed all the ladies in room and their heavenly bosoms.
