Kayla further cried: "I wonder why I was so reckless! I shouldn't have listened to him!"

"Listen to who?!", Miguel who seemed to have gotten a point said holding unto it.

Just as he stared at her, waiting to hear her next words, he heard someone scream outside.

The screaming and random exclamation of fear and surprise became rampant, so he rushed to the door to peak.

He quickly took some steps back in shock.

The same men that killed master Xenguy's wife had come to Helilia and were obviously looking for someone.

"Slash!!", He exclaimed.

He needed not to be told to know that the were the ones they were looking for.

At this point he couldn't help but think about Clark who had gone out to get the healer.

Even though he knew they were the ones The black masked guards were looking for, he remembered that their leader was able to recognize Clark at a glance. If they get Clark wouldn't he lead them to themselves?

Just as he pondered on what to do and how to escape if the need arised, the door was suddenly pushed open.

Boom!

A heavy bag was dropped on the floor.

Miguel, Kayla and Claire who witnessed her parents death and had been tramotised since then, moving with strangers because she didn't even know how and if she should refute, were all shocked.

Miguel was prepared to attack even, when he saw Clark's face.

"Here they sir!", Clark said pointing at Miguel and Kayla.

The old man who he came in with raised his head up slowly.

He looked at Miguel and then turned to Kayla. As soon as he saw Kayla, he blurted out with a terrified expression: "You should be dead!"

When they heard this, they feared that the old man recognized Kayla and was refering to the banishing.

Clark already stood at the door and was prepared to not let the old man go out when they suddenly heard him say: "You've been in conditions you shouldn't have been in!"

As he spoke, he walked closer.

"The child is a special one!", he added.

"We don't have time for this! Who is responsible for it?!", Miguel asked rudely.

All he had in mind was to find out what he came there for and leave as quickly as possible before those black masked guards find them.

The old man looked at Miguel and replied with a slight bow: "Yes My Lord"

On hearing this, Miguel realized how useless his disguise was and took it off.

"Just have it checked sir!", he added now trying not to sound rude.

"You may put it back on My Lord, I was only able to tell with the informations I was given. There are not many persons in Quaila who wants to find out who is responsible for a child in a woman", he added and opened the bag Clark had previously dropped.

Out of the bag, he brought out a pair of gloves connected to the bag with some ropes.

They all watched him bring out this weird looking gloves and ropes from his bag in amazement.

"Come closer!", he said gesturig that Miguel came closer as he placed his hand on Kayla's tummy.

Miguel looked at Clark and walked closer to the man.

To his surprise, the man grabbed his crotch immediately.

"Ugh!!!", he exclaimed in absolute shock.

His body began to shake unconsciously and so was Kayla and the old man.

Afterwards, the man let go.

As soon as his hand left Miguel, Miguel fell on the ground and was unconscious for about 3 seconds.

The man looked at Kayla, then at Miguel, nodded and said: "My Lord, this child is uncontaminatably yours!"

As soon as Miguel heard this, his heart melted.

The last strand of hope had fallen, now what's left?

He remained on the floor thinking of how and when he ever even went as far as standing next to Kayla in the first place.

Just as he sat on the floor still thinking, the man kept back his gloves and stuffed the rope back into his bag. After this, he stood up and said: "Fear not! The creator has a purpose for this child, the birth would bring about a new Era! Wether you leave or die, this child would live. Vihaan would be its name!"

When Kayla heard this, she looked at the man in doubt: "That's impossible! How can you say he is part of the plan of the creator when you don't even know how his birth came about?!"

The old man smiled and turned to Kayla and said: "Why don't you narrate it to them, so they'll be on their fruitless quest back to the mastermind who still but temporarily holds something of value to you?!"

Mystery after mystery, this old man had been speaking, none in the room could fully comprehend his words, expect Kayla who was seemingly made speechless by his words.

With a puff Miguel was on his knees.

"Master! I need no precognition to see you possess abilities beyond that of Quaila's, please guide me!", the confused Miguel spoke sincerely.

The man looked at Miguel, smiled and said: "A familiar sword went through you and your father tried to grab you, but while he did that, that same sword was taking out of you and went through him. After these, darkness was upon the face of Quaila... But the creator saw this coming and made provision for a bright light!"

Miguel looked at the man speak more mysteries; but little did he know that that was his father's dream.
