With a proud face, Kelvin stood in front of the company. He figured this was an opportunity he had to prove himself to Nora's mom, and so he must do it well.
For If the mother is on his side, the daughter with be but a piece of cake presented to him on a gold tray.
When the time is right, he would have Nora to himself. The mere thought of it made him more excited, and was promoted to speak some more.
"Uncles and aunties, don't you worry, the scam boss behind this company will come out soon to give you back your money!", He said aloud in confidence.
On hearing this, they began to applaud, one after the other. They were really excited and expressed their untamed happiness.
Chris was the only one looking at Kelvin with a sneer on his face. This guy has raised himself too high, he will know soon what it means to fall from such a height.
Enjoying the respect and cheers the elders were throwing at him, Kelvin raised his head up and saw the doors of the Harley insurance company open.
And shortly after Harley Zuo, the owner of the company and the middle aged man on a White suit walked out.
Everyone saw how advanced the middle aged man looked, but he had the amazing aura, it was Overl Hong!
Behind Overl Hong were some strong looking men, his personal bodyguards, all buffed up and strong.
Overl Hong was so high that people barely saw him, but on the mention of his name alone, shut doors were opened. And so no one knew who he was, not even Kelvin. But they all knew Harley Zuo, the owner of the company.
And like an atomic bomb, the crowd blew up.
"Sarahd, Kelvin was able to get Mr. Zuo out, he is really awesome!", "Absolutely, all thanks to Sister Sarah, we actually have a chance to get back our money!", "Wow Sarah, I wonder if you can see this, but such a good young man will make a fine son in-law, a thousand times better than your current one!", They commented one after the other.
Hearing these flattering comments, made her head swell.
Kelvin really rose her shoulders before the elders in this situation. The thought of this made her smile some more as she looked into Kelvin's eyes, she without a doubt satisfied.
Immediately he saw them coming, Kelvin walked forward triumphantly, with his head and chest up.
He knew none of the men before him, not Harley Zuo nor Overl Hong. But from the way they walked, Harley treating Overl Hong with respect, and the bodyguards behind Overl Hong, he thought Over Hong was the owner.
So he stood before Overl Hong and staring into his eyes, "are you the owner of this insurance company?", He asked proudly.
"I am not the boss, but if you have a problem, you can speak to me!", Overl Hong replied with a faint smile.
Kelvin saw this and smiled in disdain, "Another subordinate? What rubbish! Don't waste my time, I can't stoop so low to talk with a subordinate. Go get your boss now!", Kelvin said rudely.
On seeing this, Chris shook head as he looked at Kelvin like a fool.
The white suit the man wore was obviously not ordinary, and he too had subordinates following him. The mere sight of him showed that he was no ordinary person, but Kelvin mocked him rudely, certainly digging up his own grave.
"Kelvin ignore the useless subordinate, the one next to him is Harley, the true owner of the insurance company!", Sarah said.
On hearing this, Harley Zuo became speechless.
Kelvin White and the old woman are so full of courage.
They even went as far as mocking Overl Hong as though he was a dog, telling him to get out. They really don't know what they up against.
None in the Hillsprings would dare to speak to Overl Hong without respect, how much more insult him so boldly!
Even if such persons existed, when they are done, he would have them thrown in the river, and let the fishes eat them up.
