As soon as I saw him, my heart skipped several beats.
I blinked twice for confirmation and he was no more.
Throughout my stay in Mrs. Bell's hospital room, I was lost in thought; occasionally staring at the window.

When we got home, we went to our various rooms as initially allocated.
I had been holding my pee since the hospital, now all I could think of was easing myself.
"Katie… what did you see?", Kareen asked.
I gave no reply as I rushed to the toilet to ease myself.
Life with crutches has been the terrible. Everything I do normally has become thrice as hard as it used to be.
"I saw how frequently you kept staring at the window; and how quiet you've been. Did you see him?", She asked.
I nodded my head as I hurriedly opened the door the toilet's door while leaning on my crutches.
After easing myself, I got up with the help of the crutches and stroded towards the mirror to watch my face.
"You are not insane Katie! You are perfectly fine… it's all going to be fine!", I said and stepped out of the toilet immediately not wanting to experience any encounter.
I opened the door and saw Kareen sitted on the floor and was seemingly arranging something.
"So Kareen, your love life… begin!", I said walked towards Kareen.
"My love life…", Kareen replied, but with a different voice.
Only then did I realize that that wasn't Kareen.
I took two steps back in shock.
"What did you do to Kareen?", I asked.
"Nothing really. I mean why would I want to hurt my sweetheart, Kareen?", He asked standing up.
As soon as he stood up, Kareen's shirt which he wore fell to the ground.
He turned to me with his hands still heavily an freshly stained with blood, like a doctor who performed a surgery without gloves.
How did Kareen date such a thing?
"She simply stepped out…", he added as he walked closer.
"Please stop!", I said as I too stepped back.
"I can help you Katie…", he said as he continued stepping forward.
"I don't need your help!", I said affirmatively.
"You sure about that?", He asked and stopped abruptly.
"Yes, you can only help me by leaving!", I replied.
"You sure about that?", He asked looking at my picture on the wall.
"You once asked me a question…… let me give you a reply then. My love life was going great....", He said and paused.
Then suddenly turned to me and added: "…what about yours?"
On hearing his question, I was quiet for a while.
"I don't need a ghost boyfriend!", I added immediately.
On hearing me he began to laugh.
"Oh please! Your sister can barely keep up, you won't even last half as long…", he added still laughing.
"Wait what?!", I asked in shock.
"You guys…… like… like…", I stammered feeling dizzy.
"What?! No! Hell no! Intellectually I mean!", He added.
"Phew!", I heaved a sigh of relief.
"Wait what?!", I replied feeling highly insulted.
"Oh come on…everyone this room knows Kareen's smarter." He added.
"Anyways that's not why I am here. I'll make sure make things really simple for you, so your intellect won't be too important. You and I know that Courtney has a crush on Jimmy.", He said.
As soon as his voice fell, my heart skipped a beat.
His question struck a chord in my heart.
"And if you further paid attention in the hospital, or were there when your mom got to the hospital, you'll know there's a chance Jimmy too could fall for her.", He further explained.
As further listened my heart tightened.
The fear I once felt in my heart had had been converted to pain.
Looking at my face, he smiled and added: "but I can help you…"
"I can take her out for you!", He added closing his bloody fist.
On hearing that, I said without thinking: "no!"
Just then, the door opened and Kareen walked in.
"That's enough Denzel! Stop lying to my sister!", She replied.
"Come on now Kareen, you know me better!", He said to Kareen.
"You know I don't lie…", he added.
"I thought you told me that you don't kill without an offense to or from your master…", He added.
He laughed and added: "Come on now darling, you act like you don't know me at all! What's a little offense I can't create?"
After speaking, he turned to me added: "Just give me a word, mi lady and I'll carry out your request! As for as ordering Jimmy's steps to the point where he worships you. Trust me dear, there's nothing I can't do.", He said and disappeared into thin air.
