On hearing his reply, I felt like one frozen solid.
At this time, I, kareen and Chloe were looking at the same direction.
"Yes!!!!", He said laughing dubiously as the lights in the hospital flickered.
When they came back on he was gone, but his laughter echoed for a while before gradually fading away.
Kareen turned to me and said, : "You too?!"
Afterwards, she shook her head crying and walked out of the room.
Only I and Chloe understood among all in the room looking at the light as is slowly became stable.
Just then, the door opened and all in the silent room looked at towards it as Jimmy stepped in.
"What's going on here?", He asked noticing the un-natural expression on our faces.
No one gave him a reply.
"Really girls what's up? I just saw Kareen crying down the hallway", He added looking around.
Then quickly walked to where the baby was.
"Katie!", He called looking at me on noticing that the bay was fine.
I looked at him but couldn't say a word.
"Courtney!", He called, Courtney continued patting the back of her crying sister.
"Mrs. Monrow?", He said turning to my mom.
"I don't know Jimmy, I am still trying to put the pieces together, Kareen just started yelling and suddenly looked at Katie, said some words and stepped out.", Mom explained.
"What?!", Jimmy exclaimed seemingly more confused.
While their discussion went on, I began asking myself some questions.
Was the new believer what this ghost wanted? Was that the deal?
What does that have to do with Kareen? Or dad and mom?
"Katie!", Mom called.p
"Yes mom!", I said snapping back to reality.
"Are you okay?", She asked.
"I am fine mom!", I said with a smile.
"I'll be right back!", I said, picked up my crutches and walked out of to the room.
Where's Kareen?

After walking around for a while, I got pressed and decided to go the bathroom.
When I got closer, I heard sobbing.
So quickly pushed in.
"Kareen!", I said knocking on the stall where I heard her sobbing from.
"Go away!", She said.
"You know I can't do that sis! Come out let's talk!", I said.
"There's nothing to talk about! I screwed up!", She said aloud.
"Is it the ghost?!", I asked.
She kept quiet.
"Come on Kareen, we can handle this together! Just tell me everything you know", I said aloud.
Suddenly the door opened and Kareen with heavy eyes stepped out.
"You can't help me!", She said walking towards the door.
"At least let me try!", I said holding her hand.
"It's our family after all… not just yours!", I said looking at her.
She looked at my leg and tightened her fist saying: "I am going to make him pay!"
"Who is he?", I asked.
"His name is Denzel!", She replied.
"Denzel……", I repeated.
"Yes! I and Denzel have been friends for a couple years now. He only comes during the holidays. Especially on Christmas.", She replied.
"Why haven't you said anything?", I asked worried.
"Really?!", She said looking at me sarcastically.
"Oh yeah…", I replied rolling my eyeballs.
"So what happened? If you guys are friends, why the sudden changed in attitude? Friends don't kill friend's parents…", I said.
"Not this one apparently… I can't believe I fell for him!", She replied.
"You what?!", I exclaimed.
"Nothing!", She said and walked out of the bathroom.
"No you don't, I heard you!", I said as I followed from behind as fast as I could.
"Let me get this straight! Denzel isn't just your friend but your boyfriend!", I added as I followed her.
"Shhhh! Don't say it out loud!", She replied looking around.
"Oh my God!", I said putting a hand on my head trying to check if I was hot and imagining things.
"I'll tell you all about it when we get home!", She said.
I can't believe I am about to listen my junior sister's love life.
