For a moment her brain couldn't comprehend what was going on.

"Come with me!", Miguel said as he wrapped her in vines.

She struggled to get out but couldn't.

"How?!", she exclaimed surprised that she couldn't control the vines.

Apart from her dad a few of his high level helpers, there were not many she couldn't over power. So she was surprised that Miguel the multi-possessor could achieve such power and over a short period of time. She met him not so long ago and he wasn't this strong, how did he get this powerful over a couple of hours?

Kayla who stopped struggling, couldn't stop thinking.

Meanwhile Gregory and his men who were now at the cell couldn't find Miguel in it.

"Leaf!!", Gregory exclaimed as he stomped his foot on the floor.

"He's gone!", one of the advisor's exclaimed.

"He mustn't have gone far, let the helpers hurry before he goes through the gates of Phytillia!", Another advisor yelled.

"That's true!", Gregory admonished.

"Kayla!", he called as he turned.

"Helpers, make sure Kayla is secured!", he added.

"Where is she?", he asked looking around and was unable to find her.

"I thought Kayla came with us?", he said puzzled as he looked at the men's faces there as they too looked around for his pregnant daughter.

"But sir, I thought you held her down with vines and didn't want her to come with us for her safety...", the helper who saw Kayla strapped to the floor by vines added.

"What?!", Gregory exclaimed as his heart began to pound.

"It must have been Miguel!", one of the advisors yelled.

"Isn't it obvious enough? Bunch of leave brains!", Gregory said as he vined his way to Phytillia's main chambers.

As he left the others followed.

......

"Go get Miguel and any one he's working with, bring him here anyway you can before he destroys another property of Quaila!", Luca added aggressively.

He finally was able to pour out his anger on his promiscuous brother Miguel.

"After meeting with my fiance, now you want to ruin Quaila!", he added aloud trying to anger up the guards he sent to search for Miguel.

Some who had fiancés could relate and so were fired up to get Miguel and potentially even harm him with the excuse of "In the process of...."

Luca could see the irritation on these ones' faces and so he sent them out with joy within himself.

Meanwhile, in the Quaila's main chamber prison.

"Open the gates!", a command was given.

The gates were hastingly opened and a troop of guards followed the one who commanded.

A sharp sound was generated by gently but repeatedly hitting the cell bars made of ropes coated with steel.

These ropes have been found to be unbreakable. Not even the Sticilians could break it.

Even Timothy and his crew at their max strength have tried using this rope in a thug of war; knowing how strong they were, their intentions was not to win at first, just expectant that the rope was going to break. But after a while of pulling, instead of breaking a side was winning.

Hearing this sound, Mercury raised his head up and saw Palmer standing in front of the cell.

He stood up immediately and bowed his head.

"My Lord!", he added.

"Tell me Mercury, why have you decided to choose this path?", Palmer asked.

On hearing Palmer's question he understood what he meant, but replied honestly: "My Lord, I chose this path because I saw that it was the right one"

"What has gotten over you Merc?! Are you possessed? You're doing the wrong thing and still acting loyal!", Palmer said angered.

"The only wrong thing I did was not act on time!", Mercury replied.

On hearing his sentence, Palmer grew more angry.

"Even if this is the last day I spend as the ruler of Quaila, I am going to take you out. You helped build my life and kingdom so you could take it all. In the end non of us would have; the only difference is one of us is going to loose their lives trying.", Palmer added squeezing the bar.

"My Lord, why has pain blinded your thinking?!", Mercury asked.

"What?!!! I want this man beheaded!!", Palmer added and stepped out in anger.

"Palmer.... my friend!", Mercury called for the first time.

This got Palmer immediately, in all his years of being with Mercury, Mercury had never called him by name.

"Look beyond the one holding the knife and you'll find the killer...", Mercury spoke and sat back on the floor.
