"I know you're worried about William, but now we must focus on the overall situation."
Derila's tone softened and she advised softly, "He told us to go to Clark, said that
Clark knows what to do next."
"Now that the castle is closed off and there are soldiers stationed outside, it's not good
to blend in." Dominic spoke slowly, "It'll take some time, I'll think of something."
"Dominic, it's all up to you." Monica said hurriedly, "You must find a way to get us in."
"I know." Dominic looked at Monica in the rear view mirror, "Let's go back now, you guys
get some rest."
Dominic took the two home first, to a small villa in the suburbs.
Derila changed Monica's medicine and treated her wounds, then went back to her
room.
There were a few messages on her phone, from Anthony, bitterly advising her to leave
William's affairs alone, saying that the aftermath of this matter was endless and more
troublesome than Chrono.
She looked at the short messages, unsure how to respond.
She also now realised the seriousness of the matter.
Thinking back, when she first treated William's leg, her auntie Layla and the others were
against it, they said that once they got involved, there would be a lot of trouble in the
future.
But she didn't even think about it at the time, she just thought that William was her
friend and she couldn't just see it through to the end.
Who would have thought that what was thought to be a simple treatment would now
involve a battle of royalty and so many lives.
The responsibility on her shoulders was simply like a snowball that was rolling bigger
and bigger.
She really felt like she was riding a tiger now, knowing that the road ahead was getting
more and more dangerous, but she couldt back down.
After all, this matter has become involved with her, not only William, but also the eighty
or so people in the castle, all waiting for her to save their lives.
At this time, there was no way she was going to run away from the battle!
But, thinking that her auntie Layla and Uncle Lincoln were also in danger now,
Derila was worried. All these years, they had been watching over her, but now they
were in danger and there was nothing she could do.
Moreover, before they left, they instructed her to keep an eye on the orphanage, but
now, she had been running around outside, leaving all the orphanage matters to
Anthony, and she had done nothing.
When the foundation was in trouble, Anthony had calculated that all her remaining
money and the money transferred by Uncle Lincoln would only last two months
combined.
Now that more than a month had passed, funding was also a big problem.
Thinking about this gave Derila a splitting headache and she stayed up all night,
taking some medicine to get some sleep.
She didn't know how long she slept, but Monica woke her up, "Ms.Feroma, Ms.Feroma!"
Derila was sleeping heavily when she was woken up, she couldn't help but feel a
little uncomfortable: "What's wrong?"
"Dominic has come up with a solution, we can act now." Monica said anxiously, "You
should get up."
Derila rolled out of bed and prepared to change her clothes.
Monica took a set of clothes and gave them to her, "Put this on, no one can get in or out
of the castle now, the only way to get in is to disguise yourself as a guard, I'll drive
tonight and you can blend in with Dominic."
"Okay." Derila changed into her clothes and followed Dominic Monica out.
On the way, Monica instructed Dominic, "First, find a way to find Clark and give him my
special communicator for future contact."
"Don't worry, I know." Dominic nodded, and had some concerns, "Or else I'll blend in
alone, Ms.Feroma is so small, I'm afraid I'll be recognised."
"It's alright, I'm more familiar with the castle, we'll see what happens when the time
comes." Derila said, "I must see Clark to know the real situation they are in now."
"Ms.Feroma, then you be safe." Monica handed her a gun, "In case anything happens,
you can protect yourself."
"Thanks."
