"You got a big mouth kid! I just hope your family's got a big heart!!", He said as he charged towards me, holding the knife with it's handle facing up and the sharp metal part extended out down like one about to stab a meat or something.
This fool really intends to kill. I wonder what punishment will be good enough for him.
At the rate things are going, this bastard will never be able to make any substantial income. He'll keep living with an endless cycle of drugs, women and doing this.
And eventually, he'll end up either killing the mother and the baby or abandon them because of his inability to cater for them.
But what if I take away his balls?
What if he can't make another baby?
His mind and focus will be on the only one he has. His wise friend Jude there wouldn't even let him do anything to the mother in this case because he knows how much he needs her.
His carelessness will most likely stop; resulting in yet another good individual in the streets of Visfa. And besides I promised a handicap.
With the tip of my umbrella, I hit his hand and quickly stepped out of the with one of my foots in front, at an angle where would definitely trip and hit himself with his knife.
Just as planned, he had his hand on his knife between his bleeding inner thighs.
"umf!! Plufg! Humpu!", He spat crying.
"He should be taken to the hospital as soon as possible!", I said to his friend, lifted his mask and walked away.
Seeing this, Jude quickly took of his mask and ran towards him.
I knew how terrified and confused they both were, they'll probably forget their on a mask, so had to get rid of it.
They don't need to thank me, Marloy's wallet would do. Glad I ran into them, I wonder how else would have been able to get money for the item I need.
On my way, I saw an ambulance passed by, running almost at full speed, and soon after heard some familiar voices.
"I really hope that it isn't him!", Merylin cried panicking.
"I hope so too dear!", Her mom replied.
They drove in same direction as the ambulance, obviously thinking I was the one the ambulance were going to rescue.
"I told you jumping down from that height with cause a notable damage, you keep making it look like Caleb's a superman!", Her mom added.
Merylin said nothing as they drove passed me.
Their minds and focus were on the road and the ambulance's location, so much so they paid no attention to anything else.
"You kids these days!", Merylin's mom added.
"But mom! You heard the truck driver, he said he saw some men and a boy near Gabriel's pawn shop. The description was almost too perfect, it had to be Caleb. Someone who broke his legs wouldn't be standing in front of muggers would they?", Merylin finally replied.
Hearing this, I recalled how the truck driver whistled his way passed us, looked at us for a brief moment and then continued driving. What a smart man!
I finally arrived at Fultain.
I really don't know if I should call Fultain a restaurant or a mall. It has a section for shopping and another for eating.
I walked through the walkway, which was in between the nicely carved topiaries and the driveway, but elevated compared to the driveway.
The man Infront had his daughter touching each and every topiary, asking: "dad what bird is this?"
The father looked at it and laughed, "even I don't know pumpkin!"
I got the doorway and from where I stood, the music inside could be clearly heard, it was a slow classic and a sweet smelling fragrance, giving this suiting relaxing atmosphere.
"Yeah Dylan, I'll call you back, I have to go!", A man rushed out with a cup of coffee, seemingly about to work late.
I stepped into the place, the salespersons wearing white tops with Fultain written in red on em and dark pants stood behind the counter way over all of the tables arranged for guests.
Beside the entire thing, by the right was the mall section.
So when one was done from the mall, they'll move from
right to left, through the one door where they can make the purchase.
In Marloy's wallet, was 30bucks, which was enough to do what I needed to do and probably make more money of it. I really hope I encounter another set of muggers, I honestly need a phone.
"Caleb!", I heard someone call my name from behind just as I was about to walk into the mall section, and in that moment I was frozen solid.
I had been hearing so many footsteps, but I never really thought any one of these people would recognize me.
Who in the world could this be?
