After Derila said that, she went upstairs, leaving Clark and the rest of the ministry
frozen in place.
They were panicking in their hearts, but when they heard Derila say that, they were
completely confused again.
Derila had clearly said that they were all poisoned, how come they were now
reacting as if it was as simple as a cold and fever, not worth mentioning at all.
"Derila is just like that, but she has a good heart and won't let anything happen to
you guys." William said soothingly.
"Yes." Clark nodded his head repeatedly, "Don't worry everyone, since Ms.Feroma knows
we've been poisoned, she will never sit back and do nothing."
"Yes." The entourage then put their minds at ease.
"Don't let the others know about the poisoning yet, so as not to cause panic." Clark
handed over, "A few of you keep a covert eye on the water source and the storage room
tonight to see if any suspicious characters have passed."
"Yes." Clark arranged everything and pushed William back to his room.
Closing the door, Clark opened a bottle of mineral water and handed it to William, then
asked apprehensively, "I didn't expect Ms.Feroma to be so powerful, will our secret be
leaked?"
"What secret? Leak what?" William changed his usual gentle and Ilali-like posture and
stared at Clark coldly and sternly.
"Uh…" Clark froze and bowed his head in a panic, "Yes."
"It is true that someone has poisoned and plotted against us, it is also true that there is
a problem with the water supply, we are not deceiving Derila." William warned in a
hushed voice, "Except that I found out about the problem in advance."
"Yes." Clark nodded as he wiped his sweat, "We can't cure the poison, sooner or later
we're going to have to invite Ms.Feroma over, it just won't mean the same thing to have
her find out the problem herself. I just found that Ms.Feroma is far smarter and more
individual than I thought, and I'm afraid that if she senses anything different, she'll get
angry and leave us alone."
"First, Derila is a responsible person, also very kind. She will not to us even if she is
really angry. Secondly, this matter, heaven knows you know, you know me know, as
long as you don't say anything, no one will know. Besides, I haven't done anything
harmful. I only found out that there was something wrong with the water supply, but I
didn't say anything in order to draw the snake out of the hole." William spoke with
righteousness and justification.
"Right." Clark gradually calmed down, "So what do we do next?"
"Did the Silas see Derila at the airport today?" William asked.
"Met him, he even gave Ms.Feroma a look as he was leaving, his eyes were quite
meaningful." Clark was observant, "He should have investigated Ms.Feroma's identity as
soon as he returned, he should have known by now that she is the doctor!"
"Contact Silas and tell him about Derila's discovery that the water source is
poisonous." William ordered in a low voice, "Especially emphasise the fact that my
condition has worsened due to the poisoning, and that all eighty-three people up and
down the entire castle have been poisoned along with me.
Moreover, Derila has said that if she had come a few months later, there would
have been no survivors of the eighty or so people in this castle, and the castle would
have become a haunted mansion. Such a heartless act is outrageous, I beg Your
Majesty to do justice!!!"
"I understood!!!" Only at this moment did Clark truly understand William's intentions.
A few days ago, William found himself poisoned and immediately took him alone to
check the water source late at night, and soon discovered the problem.
At that time, Clark was so furious that he immediately went to report to the king, but
William stopped him in an unusually calm manner.
Afterwards, he even asked him to cooperate with him in a play to trick Derila into
coming over.
Clark originally thought that William had done this so that Derila would find out the
truth herself so that she would feel sorry for him and therefore have feelings for him.
It was only now that Clark realised that their highness master was far more scheming
and far-sighted than he had imagined.
