The place where Derila lived was far away from the airport and one had to speed
up and run all the way to get to the airport within half an hour.
Otherwise, that madman Chrono might do something else.
Her heart clenched together as she thought of the exploding orphanage.
When Anthony called, she was avoiding a large truck, and it wasn't until she was on the
highway and everything was stabilized that she called back-
"Hello!"
"Where are you?"
It was noisy on Anthony's end, and the phone was full of children's cries.
"I'm at the airport, how's the orphanage? How many casualties are there?" Derila's
heart clenched.
Anthony: "The explosion was in the nearby car park, not the orphanage, a few children
fell off the elevated bed and got hurt because they were in shock, the rest are fine."
"The car park?" Derila froze, "It's good the children are okay."
Derila was relieved. Tt seemed that Chrono still had a shred of conscience and
hadn't really touched the children.
However, if she hadn't arrived at the airport on time, she was afraid that the last
remaining shred of hre conscience would be gone.
"Where are you? Come here quickly." Anthony was very anxious, "Chrono must be
trying to threaten you with the children's safety."
Before Anthony could finish his words, the phone disconnected.
Derila thought it was because Anthony was too busy and had accidentally hung up
or the signal was bad, so she didn't care.
With her bag on her back and her phone in hand, she quickly ran towards the airport.
But the passengers in the hall were coming and going, but there was no sign of Chrono.
Derila was feeling puzzled when she suddenly felt a chill approaching behind her,
and she immediately turned around.
A girl dressed all in black, wearing a duck-tongue cap and mask stood behind her, with
a pair of narrow eyes, staring at her with a ghostly coldness.
Derila narrowed her eyes and locked eyes with her, "It's you?"
The assassin who had posed as a doctor at the hospital last time, Chrono's accomplice.
"Good eyesight!" The female assassin smiled coldly, "The tickets are bought for you,
let's go!"
Then she was about to take Derila to check in.
"Where's Chrono?" Derila vaguely felt that something was wrong, "He's not at the
airport?"
"Does it matter? I'm just here." The female assassin pushed Derila, "Get to check
in."
"No." Derila stared at her suspiciously, "You guys aren't trying to transfer the tiger
away from the mountain, are you?"
The female assassin's eyes flickered for a moment, and Derila immediately
understood: "So your purpose is…"
Derila was so shocked that she hurriedly ran towards the car park.
The female assassin immediately followed behind and chased out.
When the two ran to the car park, the female assassin shot at Derila's feet, "Stop!"
Derila was about to make her move when a group of people suddenly rushed out
from the shadows and fought with the female assassin.
Derila fixed her eyes and saw that it was actually Sloan, so they hadn't left.
She didn't have time to think about it and quickly jumped into the car.
"Ms.Feroma!"
Sloan called out, and Derila didn't even turn her head back as she sped away in
her car.
Sloan and the others quickly took down the female assassin, knocking her unconscious
and letting the bodyguards take her away, while Sloan drove off with two men to chase
after Derila.
"Brother Sloan, Brother Charles and the others haven't arrived yet, will we not have
enough men?"
"Let's rush over there first."
"Yes."
While driving to the orphanage, Derila called Anthony, but the phone couldn't be
reached.
She called the orphanage staff again, but still couldn't get through.
She was so anxious that she pushed on the accelerator, almost about to drive the car
into the air.
A bad omen ran through her mind and she wondered if Chrono was going to treat her in
another, crueler way.
In the middle of her thoughts, a phone call came in, it was William.
Derila hurriedly answered it, "William!"
William: "Derila, is something wrong?"
Derila: "There may be something at the orphanage, William, I am on my way there
now, can you?"
William: "I'll send someone over right away."
