As soon as they drove out, I threw the umbrella inside my room, wore the black jacket and jumped inside, shut the window and looked around.
I was about to leave when I saw a bagpack the Vixuses had gotten for me; just then I realized how much I needed it.
After picking it up along with the umbrella I had dropped, I walked out the room.
The house was abnormally quiet. I am use to hearing the sound of atleast a heartbeat while in here.
I walked out through the front door and began to walk towards the restaurant with the box in my backpack.
The restaurant was a few kilometers from the Vixus's house, about a 30 minutes walk.
It was night, the moon's light isn't so bright tonight, aside the street lights, the alleys were extremely dark.
"What the f_ck men, where's everyone? No one's passed here tonight", a man said in an alley not so far off.
"Yeah, I wonder where they all at, this is so f_cked man. I told you we should stay home tonight!", The other said.
"You just saying that cause your girl home!", The other replied.
After a brief moment of silence, they both began to laugh. "F_ck you man! You know how hot that girl is! She's got it all! Thinking of making her my wifey", The boyfriend said.
"Try having a baby see how hot your pocket gonna be!", His friend replied.
There was another moment of silence; at this time, I was less than a minute away from them.
"Wait, don't tell me, f_ck man! You got her pregnant!", The friend said aloud.
"Chill man, why you speaking so loudly?!", He replied.
"How on God's green earth am I goings to do that?!", He asked.
"Quit it Jude.... Hey look!", He said pointing at me as I walked passed the Alley.
"Don't try to change the subject Marloy, you really screwed up!", Jude said sounding angry.
"No man a boy just passed!", He said as he ran out of the Alley.
"Hey, kid! Hold up!", He said as he ran towards me. His friend followed shortly.
I came to a stop; I mean, why run?
He walked up to me and added: "What you got in there?"
"Nothing!", I replied coldly.
"You joking with me kid? Kid's like usually hang around with laptops and other gadgets, where are yours?", he said as he walked around me.
He had a mask on so I couldn't see his face, all I was certain of about was is name, Marloy, his height, age range, the length of his fingers and the fact that one of them had a slight deep cut. And lastly he has a hot girlfriend and a baby coming.
"I have none of those", I replied about to move when he yanked my bag, pulling me backwards.
"Who asked you to leave?!", he spoke aggressively. At this time, Jude was already at my otherside.
"You better act rationally kid!", he said as he pulled out a sharp knife.
"What's in this bag of yours?!", Marloy asked about to unzip my bag.
I quickly pulled to the side.
Seeing this their expressions changed and they looked at themselves. "I knew it kid! There's something in that bag you don't want us to have!", Marloy said as he too pulled a sharp knife longer than Jude's.
"Considering the fact you are going to be a father soon, I wouldn't want him to be raised up by handicapped father", I said calmly as I stomped the umbrella on the floor repeatedly.
On hearing this, their expresiions changed drastically; Marloy was the most surprised.
"How did you?! I don't know what mind games you are playing kid! But you better give us what you we want and I can pretend you never said a word", Marloy added as they both walked closer.
"Threatening me with a knife even you don't know how to use. Who where you mugging when you cut your index finger?", I asked still stomping the umbrella on the floor repeatedly as I continued staring at them.
Jude immediately came to an abrupt stop as he looked at me in shock.
Plan "A" seems to be falling into shape. Would have tagged it success if this boneheaded Marloy stopped as well.
"You scared of this kid?! Weren't you the who said we should be out here?", Marloy asked Jude.
"You might want to put your knife away", I added as Marloy turned to me.
"And why is that?", he said sounding irritated.
"There's a vehicle coming in about 30 seconds", I replied.
"Who's this kid? What are you? Dr. Strange?!", he asked sarcastically.
"21!", I said aloud.
"What's that supposed to mean; Are you for real, seriously doing a count down?!", he added.
"13!", I added.
At this time the sound of the vehicle could be heard clearly.
Jude who had been looking at the road all these while quickly put away his knife.
"Put your knife a way man let's roll! This kid seems to be some kind of vudoo lord", Jude said as he put his knife in his pocket and buried his face under his hood walking towards the alley slowly.
Marloy did same but didn't walk away, just bent down like one picking up something from the floor.
At the mention of "1!", a truck drove passed.
"He wasn't right Jude! It's a truck not a car! Those guys are you usually carefree", Marloy said as he stood up.
"You bozo! You just mentioned my name!", Jude said aloud helpless and angry.
"He can't do nothing if he is dead!", Marloy said as he continued walking towards me.
"Why are you hell bent on being handicapped?!", I added with a cold murderous expression.
