"That's not what I mean, Harrison, " explained Rogan hurriedly. "I just want to inform Ms. Lierger."
"Ms. Lierger is injured, so let her recover, " asserted Harrison firmly. "Mr. Lierger is still waiting for me to bring the kids back."
"Understood."
Naturally, Rogan did not dare to say anything else. She quickly hung up and brought Harrison to the girls.
At the hospital, Freda called out, "Hello? Hello?" She anxiously tried to call back. However, she remembered that Harrison had already reached Northridge and Rogan definitely would not dare to defy Daemon's orders.
Hence, she called Zayn to inform him.
"Daemon probably wants to lure Derila back using the kids…" guessed Zayn calmly. "Since he wants to take back his own kids, I have no right to stop him."
"Yeah, but…"
As Freda had overheard Zayn's conversation with Brandy earlier, she knew that Daemon was doing that to make Derilo return. However, if Derilo went back so quickly, Zayn's illness would not be cured.
If Carla is awake, she'll feel anxious…
"You're from the Lierger family, so don't be distracted by other thoughts."
With that, Zayn hung up.
Still gripping the phone, Freda felt extremely conflicted. She knew that Zayn was reminding her not to defy her duty and to always remember her identity.
Otherwise, she might be labelled as a traitor…
Naturally, she did not dare to betray Daemon. While she did not want Carla to be sad, she also hoped that Benard could get treated too.

Soon, Rogan called and said anxiously, "Harrison took the girls away. When I asked Randy when they'll be back, he said that he'll talk to Ms. Lierger directly after she wakes up. What should we do?"
"If Mr. Lierger wants to take the girls back, we have no choice either.." replied Freda. "Ms. Lierger is still unconscious, so let's wait till she wakes up. Meanwhile, you should take good care of Josh and Venus."
"Okay, then." Rogan sighed. "How are things going with the Giblo family? Bugara hasn't been replying to my messages today. I'm worried about him."
"Newton has already been arrested by the police and Boris ran away. Brandy is dealing with the remaining problems now. Everything's under control…"
"That's good!" Rogan heaved a sigh of relief. "Is Mr. Zayn back?"
"He's back…"
"Great!"
When Rogan was talking to Freda, a figure suddenly barged in from the windows. Rogan spun around warily. However, before she could say anything, she felt a huge knife pressing precariously against her neck.
Shocked, she stared at the short girl in front of her and blurted, "Fran…"
Derila gestured her to remain silent.
"I'll stop talking to you now, Freda. I'll go look at Josh and Venus."
"Okay."
After hanging up the call, Rogan craned her neck carefully and greeted with respect, "Mrs. Lierger, spare me!"
Although she had always been working for Carla, she knew how deeply Daemon loved Derila.
It was better if she did not offend her future employer.
"Why are you calling me that?" Derila frowned unhappily. "Who's Mrs. Lierger?"
"You're Mr. Lierger's wife. We wouldn't dare to offend you, " said Rogan appeasingly. "Mrs. Lierger, if you have any orders, just tell me. There's no need to resort to weapons. Haha…"
"Where are my kids?" asked Derila with a frown. "I searched the entire place but couldn't find them. Where have they gone?"
"Just around ten minutes earlier, Harrison took them away, " replied Rogan carefully. "You know Harrison, right? He's Mr. Lierger's right-hand man."
