His words caused Carla to have an epiphany.

once."
"Did he hurt you?" Freda asked.
"No." Rogan shook her head. "They treated us civilly by only preventing us from reporting back and carrying out our mission. It was only about twenty minutes ago that they kicked us out, telling us that negotiations had failed and that I should come here and wait for Ms. Lierger."
"It appears Brandy and Benard are still being nice for old time's sake." Freda snuck a glance in Carla's direction.
