The plane took off and left the familiar city.
Carla looked out the windows and stared blankly at the scenery. Countless memories flooded into her head, stirring up rippling waves of emotions.
Every single one of those memories had Zayn in it.
His face and silhouette were deeply imprinted in her mind.
Perhaps if she were to lose her memories again, he would really be forgotten.
With that thought, Carla smiled bitterly.
Last time, she pretended not to care about Zayn. Now that she was really leaving, her true feelings could not be suppressed any longer.
The truth was that she still loved him.
However, the hatred that distended within her was beyond overwhelming. She couldn't forgive him, nor could she do it on behalf of Mrs. Borah.
Hence, it was time to put everything to an end.

Zayn stood mindlessly in the airport and stared at the fleeting plane.
Despite saying that he would not go to the airport, he showed up anyway. However, he hid in a corner, secretly sending them off.
As the private jet of the Lierger family took off and vanished from sight, Zayn fell into a state of devastation.
She's gone, really gone.
Her determination was absolute.
"Daddy!"
An innocent voice came from behind. After that, a chubby hand grabbed Zayn's arm.
Zayn looked towards him.
Josh looked up hopefully at him, "Mr. Brandy said that you will get Mommy back, is that right?"
"Yes, " Zayn replied. However, he wasn't confident with his answer. Carla made up her mind and she would not be swayed easily.
"Do you love Mommy?" Josh continued to ask.
"Of course I do, " Zayn answered without hesitation.
"Do you want to be with Mommy?" Josh asked another question.
"Yes!" The images of the five of them living together as a family flashed before him.
That was the life that he wanted all along.
"That's good." Josh nodded, appeased. He then gestured to Zayn. "Daddy, let me tell you a secret."
"What is it?" Zayn crouched down and leaned towards Josh.
Josh whispered in his ears. "Randy and I have a plan. We are tackling the issue from various points. We will support Daddy's plan to get back with Mommy. With our assistance, you will succeed for sure! When Venus recovers, she will join us and this will be step three."
Zayn was touched. He tenderly rubbed his head and said, "Thank you, Josh!"
"Randy and Venus too." Josh stared at him seriously.
"Yes, thanks to Randy and Venus too." Zayn pinched his cheek dotingly.
"Daddy, it was you who said that we must be fearless and determined in pursuing our goals. You can do this!"
Josh clenched his small fists and encouraged Zayn.
"Yes, Daddy will bring Mommy back!"
Zayn instantly had the confidence that he needed. He held Josh high up in his arms and uttered confidently, "Two months later, we will bring Mommy, Randy, and Venus back from Erihal!"
"Yes, that's great!" Josh raised his hand and cheered happily.
Zayn grinned at the sight of Josh's jubilation.
When he was prepared to leave together with Josh, there was sudden dizziness and his vision blurred.
He instinctively supported himself by holding on to the wall.
"Daddy, what's wrong?" Josh did not notice anything unusual.
"Is there anyone suspicious?"
Brandy thought that they might be in danger.
"Mr. Giblo, are you not feeling well?"
Only Benard noticed Zayn's oddity.
